Talk about special treat! When you need to hydrate but you're bored of water, from time to time - grab a mortar and pestle and get crushing. The zesty combination of lime, lemon and mint make this refreshing low calorie drink a great thirst quencher.
2 medium limes, cut into wedges
2 medium lemons cut into wedges
1 tablespoon brown sugar (or your preferred sweetener, to taste)
½ cup firmly packed fresh mint leaves
4 cups crushed ice
500ml sparkling water
Using mortar and pestle, crush lime, lemon, sugar and mint, in batches if necessary, until mixture is pulpy and sugar dissolved. Combine citrus mixture in large jug with crushed ice. Stir sparking water into jug; serve immediately.

0.6 g protein
